Brand Exploration & Visual Identity Concept

Role

Developed a visual identity exploration and brand system concept as part of a pitch engagement, interpreting and extending Celsius’ existing brand for future-facing applications.

Celsius is an established energy brand with a bold visual presence and strong market recognition. As part of a pitch engagement, I developed a brand exploration that reimagined how the identity could evolve across campaigns and digital touchpoints while remaining grounded in the brand’s core attributes.

The goal was not to redesign the brand, but to propose a cohesive, flexible system that could support new expressions and moments of engagement.

Working from Celsius’ existing brand foundation, I explored color, typography, layout, and graphic language to create a refined visual system that balanced energy, clarity, and consistency. The concept focused on modularity and scalability, allowing the brand to flex across platforms while maintaining strong recognition.

I designed the system to translate seamlessly across digital, social, and campaign-driven applications, ensuring visual cohesion and clear hierarchy regardless of format.

Celsius’ existing digital presence lacked clarity around ingredients, benefits, and user experience. Customers often couldn’t easily find reliable info (e.g. ingredient breakdowns, user testimonials, clinical claims), and navigation felt disjointed. The redesigned product pages and social-media strategy elevated the brand’s online identity, making it more trustworthy, aesthetic, and user-friendly.

I developed a social media strategy that showcased community-driven workouts, from group fitness classes to outdoor adventures, emphasizing how Celsius fuels movement and togetherness. Posts highlighted the brand’s clean, natural ingredients, tying product benefits to an active, holistic lifestyle.

A major concern from customers was that Celsius products were only available on Amazon, with no way to find local retailers. The store locator added a tangible customer benefit — closing the gap between online presence and offline purchase.

While the pitch did not move forward, the project stands as a strong example of strategic brand thinking, demonstrating how an established identity can be extended thoughtfully through system-driven design. The work reflects my approach to brand stewardship, concept development, and scalable visual expression within existing brand ecosystems.
